Thanks to a deal between PayPal and the software provider GTech G2, players at some of the UK’s leading online bingo sites will shortly be able to transfer money quickly and cost effectively in and out of their accounts.
The first GTech G2 partner to offer players the use of PayPal is expected to be ChitChatBingo.co.uk. However, there are many sites which are expected to follow soon after including LittlewoodsBingo.com, YahooBingo.net, AnnSummersBingo.com, BingoJoy.com, InterBingo.com and Bingo.Metro.co.uk, hopefully all within the next month.
Johan Berg, the Chief Operating Officer for GTech G2 said that, “We are very excited about being able to offer our UK bingo partners the comfort, ease and security that comes with using the PayPal service. This is a great opportunity for us as our worldwide lottery and gaming industry expertise is now coupled with the world’s leading e-wallet solution in PayPal. We are always looking at ways to serve our bingo licensees better and this latest deal will further enhance our already very high level of core capabilities in this high-growth area.”
PayPal is the best known online payment system within the UK and is used to allow buying and selling via the online auction site eBay. Any customer with an e-mail address can securely, conveniently and cost-effectively send and receive payments online, it currently has over 23 million British customers.
